Desiree Fox is the pastor of New Heart Ministries, a non-denominational, multi-cultural church located near the University of Delaware Campus in Newark, Delaware at 280 E. Main Street. New Heart seeks to spread God’s love throughout Newark and the surrounding communities.

New Heart Ministries started in the basement of Apostles Guy and Desiree Fox’s home in 2000. Initially a Bible study, the dedicated believers witnessed miracles, signs, and wonders every week. The Holy Spirit would show up, and guests were healed and hearts renewed. The apostles quickly realized their purpose for the ministry: to equip and train believers to walk in the purpose God designed for them with a love only a mother and father could give.

The word got out fast, and soon the basement could no longer hold the ministry. New Heart relocated to Hockessin Community Center for two years. Amid many prayers, the Lord urged the apostles to look for a building. The apostles prayed, and God led them to their current home. It was indeed a miracle that only God could give. Since moving to the Main Street location, they have expanded the facilities twice.

Throughout the years, Jesus has blessed New Heart Ministries so much. They are a family who loves, supports, and equips their members to grow and demonstrate the miraculous power of Jesus Christ. As a church family, they do much outreach to the community in the form of food drives, book bag drives, and other assistance to people facing financial insecurity. New Heart also has outreach programs in the Caribbean and Ghana, West Africa.
